A front will then approach the local waters Sunday, bringing increased chances for rain and lightning storms, as well as the threat for isolated to scattered strong storms Sunday into Monday. The front is then forecast to pass through the area early next week, though shower and storm chances will linger, especially along and offshore from the treasure coast.
